FrontPage or Dreamweaver: Introduction to Web Site Creation
Description: With today’s software, building a web site is easy and fun for anyone. This course introduces you to web page and web site creation using Microsoft FrontPage, the standard web creation program for non-programmers. Topics include: understanding web sites and web pages; understanding HTML; introduction to FrontPage; creating a new web; creating a new web page; creating hyperlinks; adding graphics and images; formatting and themes; publishing a web site to the web; page formatting.

Learn things like: Creating a web site for personal or business use

Prerequisites: “Using the Internet” or equivalent skill level

FrontPage or Dreamweaver: Intermediate Web Site Creation
Description: For users who have mastered FrontPage basics, this course teaches you the advanced features of FrontPage. Topics include: Managing a web (importing, shared borders, views); frames; forms; page elements and properties; dynamic pages and DHTML; integrating databases; administering a web; advanced publishing features.

Learn things like: Adding sophisticated forms to sites to collect information; managing the web site creation process; adding a database to a web site.

Prerequisites: “Introduction to Web Site Creation” or equivalent skill level

Photoshop: Introduction to Image Editing
Description: This course is for users that want to learn how to edit digital images (photos, web site graphics, logos, etc.). Topics include: exploring Photoshop; understanding file formats; working with colors; working with layers; transforming layers; using masks; printing images; using channels; drawing with Photoshop; other Photoshop functions.

Learn things like: Creating graphics for web sites or ads; touch up and edit photographs; designing ads and logos.

Prerequisites:“Introduction to Computers” or equivalent skill level

Photoshop: Intermediate Image Editing
Description: For users that have mastered Photoshop basics, this course teaches you the advanced features. Topics include: paths and colorizing; special functions; layer modes; textures; multiple channels; toning and chiseled effects; button designs.

Learn things like: Creating buttons; changing and modifying colors; adding textures to images.

Prerequisites: “Photoshop: Introduction” or equivalent skill level
