Description: For first time users or beginners, the course covers the basics of using Excel to create spreadsheets and graphs/charts. You’ll learn how to create financial models and budgets and display them visually with graphs/charts. Topics include: overview and examples of spreadsheets; core Excel and Office skills; creating a new spreadsheet (enter numbers, data, text); formulas and functions; formatting (selecting cells, re-sizing, cut/copy/paste, number format, font, inserting, deleting); saving and opening workbooks; printing basics; graph/chart basics.

Learn things like: Creating budgets that automatically recalculate when updated; keeping of inventories or any other list of information.

Prerequisites: “Introduction to Computers” or equivalent skill level

Microsoft Excel: Intermediate Spreadsheets
Description: For users who have mastered Excel basics, this course takes you to the next level of spreadsheets and graphs/charts. Topics include: advanced formatting (numbers, format painter, hiding cells, windows views, styles); advanced functions; data lists (creating lists, sorting, auto-fill, summarizing data); chart customization; internet tools; drawing tools.

Learn things like: Customizing spreadsheets to make them visually appealing; working with multiple spreadsheets simultaneously; managing lists of information; customizing graphs; adding images and pictures to spreadsheets.

Prerequisites: “Microsoft Excel: Introduction” or equivalent skill level

Microsoft Excel: Advanced Spreadsheets
Description: For experienced Excel users, this course teaches you the most advanced features. Topics include: templates and data validation; macros; complex tables (filtering, pivot tables); multiple worksheets (linking, consolidating, workgroup); analysis tools (goal seeker, solver, scenarios, audits); workbook tools (customizing toolbars, add-ins, saving workspace); macros and custom forms.

Learn things like: Checking formulas and data for accuracy; analyzing and auditing data; linking spreadsheets together; automating tasks to save time.

Microsoft Excel Mini Course: Advanced Functions and Pivot Tables
